'Pulimurugan' Starring Mohanlal Creates A New Record

'Pulimurugan' is an action adventure film directed by Vysakh. It features versatile actor Mohanlal in the titular role. As per the latest updates, the trailer of the film has created a new record. Also, 'Pulimurugan' has smashed the standing record of Mammootty's 'Kasaba'.

The official trailer of Mohanlal's impending flick has bagged around 6 Lakhs views within the first 24 hours of its release. In fact, it has also broken the record of Mohanlal's 'Janatha Garage' Malayalam trailer. According to reports, the trailer of 'Pulimurugan' covered 1 million views within 76 hours, while 'Kali' trailer touched it within 50 hours.

So, the film that had left 'Pulimurugan' behind is 'Kali'. This movie is the first independent screenplay written by Udayakrishna of the Udayakrishna-Siby K. Thomas scriptwriter duo. The film is funded by Tomichan Mulakupadam under his production company Mulakupadam Films. Reportedly, 'Pulimurugan' will hit the cinema screens on October 7.
