Raai Laxmi To Play A Modern Girl In 'Oru Kuttanadan Blog'

Raai Laxmi is all set to be seen in the much-awaited upcoming film 'Oru Kuttanadan Blog’. The actress has worked with Mammootty in many Malayalam films like 'Rajadhiraja,' 'Chattambinaadu' and 'Annan Thambi’. Her next with the megastar is directed by Sethu.

The director has named the character of Raai Laxmi as Sreejaya. Speaking about her character in the film, Sethu says, "She plays a modern girl named Sreejaya. She grew up in Krishnapuram, where the story takes place but left the place when she was 12 years old. After many years she comes from Mumbai. She has only an ammachi at home. They were affluent at one point, but not so much, now”.

 Apparently, in the film, her arrival in the area is looked at like the announcement of "World War II. The director says, "She is this modern woman and Krishnapuram natives are a conservative lot. Mammootty's character Hari is also quite excited by her arrival, and it's Hari whom she inquires about first, after landing in Krishnapuram”.
