Rosshan Andrrews’ Next Will Be A Police Thriller

Director Rosshan Andrrews is bringing something interesting for the audiences this time. The director is collaborating again with scriptwriter Bobby and Sanjay who are known for their different films in Mollywood. The team has never repeated a genre or a particular theme in films they have collaborated – from Notebook till Kayamkulam Kochunni.

After the Nivin Pauly-starrer, the director will make a movie on the theme of a Police thriller. The director, who had previously done Mumbai Police, told, “My next movie after Kayamkulam Kochunni would be a police thriller. Bobby and Sanjay is scripting the film. We are yet to cast the protagonists”. The film tells the story of Kochunni in different phases of his life and it was integral for the lead actor to be able to bring changes in his physical appearance throughout the film.

Moreover, after this movie, the filmmaker confirms that he will once again team up with Nivin after another movie which is set against the backdrop of sea. In Amar Chitra Katha as well as Aithihyamala, Kochunni is described as a tall, well-built and handsome man. “In our minds though, such a man will not be working in a grocery store but would be a labourer in the 1830s. We all have different interpretations, and this is my version,” said Rosshan.
