The national award winning director, Salim Ahamed after welding his megaphone Mammootty-starrer ‘Pathemari’ has announced his next project. His next film, which is titled ‘The Oscar Goes To…’ is an exclusive feature and is set against the backdrop of the film industry. The director is himself lending his voice in the film, he will be seen narrating a tale on tinsel town.

Salim says, “I feel that those who work in the film industry are so passionate about their jobs. Many people struggle behind each project. The saddest part is that out of 1000 attempts a year, just 100 or 150 films are hitting the screens. With this film, I am trying to capture the life of people behind the cinema.” “My story will be narrated with a struggling director in the lead role,” he added.

Salim, who is penning the script of the film, has yet not roped in actors and technicians for the film. Hopefully, the film will take off by the end of this year. Desimartini wishes strokes of luck to the team.
