Siddharth Finds Dubbing In Malayalam As One Of The Most Challenging Experiences

Actor Siddharth is one of the most bankable actors in Tollywood and Kollywood. He made his acting debut in S. Shankar's coming-of-age Tamil film ‘Boys’ which released in 2003. While he is present in the movie business since 2003, the actor has now made his Mollywood debut with Rathish Ambat’s period thriller film ‘Kammara Sambhavam’ which also stars Dileep, Murali Gopy, Bobby Simha and Namitha Pramod.

Not just acting in the film, but Siddharth is also dubbing for his role in the film. When asked if dubbing was tough, the actor said, “The best way of explaining it is, like I tweeted a few days ago. I feel like I studied the syllabus, wrote the exam and now I am waiting for the results. As somebody who works in multiple film industries, I have been quite blessed to get the opportunity to learn languages. The sad thing about this day and age is that the need to learn a new language is becoming less”.

He added, “To learn a classical language like Malayalam was a huge opportunity for me. Also, none of my films has had someone else dub for me so there was no question that I was not going to dub for my first Malayalam movie. It has been one of the most challenging experiences of my creative career. I have learnt new things every day”.

The Rang De Basanti actor also said that the film left him spell-bound in terms of its filmmaking, story and the quality of the team. Helmed by Rathish Ambat, the film is being bankrolled by Gokulam Gopalan.
