Soubin Shahir To Don Director’s Hat Soon

Soubin Shahir, who is popular for his role in Charlie, is all set to don the director’s hat. “The scripting of my movie is progressing and the shoot will begin by mid-2016”, he revealed. Soubin kept the casting of the film under wraps.

“I always wanted to be a filmmaker. I have been in the industry for the past 14 years since director Siddique's Chronic Bachelor. I have assisted several master directors and with each project, learnt the intricacies of filmmaking”, he said.

He further said that that he is camera shy. “I know people recognise you more when you are an actor than a director. But honestly, I am still a bit nervous when it comes to acting”, said Soubin Shahir.
