This Star Child Will Be Starring In Vikram Kumar's Next Directorial

Mollywood starlet Kalyani is all prepared to make her big screen debut. The actress is daughter of former Malayalam actress Lissy and well-known director Priyadarshan. The actress will be starring in director Vikram K. Kumar’s next directorial.

The moviemaker is known for his previous movies such as 24, Manam and Ishq. Kumar is also known to have worked under Priyadarshan. The director was recently quoted as saying, "Kalyani has been roped in as the female lead of the movie, which has Akhil Akkineni as the male protagonist. I had worked under Priyan sir for eight years. She was a kid back then. So, we are looking forward to having her on board the movie".

Vikram also revealed that the upcoming movie will be having an action romance genre. Also, regarding Kalyani’s career, her mother Lissy was quoted as saying, “Since both of us, her parents, are in the film field, I always knew she would be part of the same industry”. According to a close source, Kalyani is said to have chosen the project  because of the good role offered to her as well as the director helming the project.
