Tovino Thomas Is Not Concerned Of Replacing Prithviraj In Aami

As if the previous replacement in the movie Aami was not enough, another rumour started making rounds that Prithviraj had been replaced by Tovino Thomas . Earlier Bollywood actress Vidya Balan was replaced by Manju Warrier even after the shoot had started. Therefore, rumours about the second replacement had set tongues wagging.

Initially, Kamal, the film’s director, had approached Prithvi to do the movie. Though Prithvi had agreed to be a part of the film, but later walked out due to date issues. Tovino has said that there is nothing wrong if he has become a part of the film. He also said that he has been friends with Prithvi for many years.

Aami is a biopic on the prolific writer Kamala Suraiyya aka Madhavi Kutty and is produced by aphael P Thomas and Roban Rocha under the banner Reel and Real Cinema. Thomas will next be seen in the movie Mayanadi in which he will be seen alongside Aishwarya Lakshmi. The movie’s script has been written by by Shyam Pushkaran and Dileesh Nair.
