Unni R To Script For ‘Prathi Poovankozhi’

Scriptwriter Unni R has completed scripting for ‘Charlie and Leela’ and has now started working on his next film titled ‘Prathi Poovankozh’. The film which is believed to be a satire is directed by Gireesh Mano, who also helmed ‘Njee Ko Nja Cha’. The flick will start rolling in September.

The makers have decided to rope in fresh faces to play the leads in the movie. About the film, Unni says, “It will be a contemporary satire set against the backdrop of a village in Kottayam.” Apart from ‘Prathi Poovankozh’, Unni will be also be scripting Dulquer Salmaan's film with Lal Jose titled ‘Oru Bhayankara Kamukan’.

Gireesh is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film ‘Lavakusha’, which will feature Biju Menon, Neeraj Madhav and Aju Varghese in the lead. "We have five more days of shoot left, and the film is expected to release in August. Right now, the plan is to start shooting ‘Prathi Poovankozhi’ this year itself,” he said.
