    Punjabi actress Wamiqa Gabbi will make her Mollywood debut with Godha. Even before the release of her debut movie she has been become a talking point among many Mollywood buffs. The flick, which will see the actress playing a Punjabi girl who wrestles, is all set to release on May 12, 2017.

    Besides, she is also prepping up for next titled Iravakaalam which is being directed by Ashwin Saravanan. Apart from Wamiqa, the movie also features SJ Suryah and Sshivada Nair. Iravakaalam which is touted to be a supernatural thriller revolves around marriage and relationships. The actress’ portions will be shot in the second schedule of the movie which will begin by the end of May in Ooty.

    Gabbi who had a very bad impression about the southern film industry realised that her preconceived notions were wrong when she got an opportunity of working in the industry. She finds working in the southern film industry more interesting because of the characters that she gets portray here. She feels that she gets good characters to play in the Tamil and Malayalam film industry than in the North.
