10 Disappointing Bollywood Movies Which Had Promising Trailers!
There are good movies with great trailers, then there are great trailers which result in bad movies. We've got some of them listed here.
The trailer of Baar Baar Dekho made us rewind, forward, pause and play again. It was a rather breezy trailer with kickass music and promising visuals, only to leave us utterly disappointed with a time travel fiasco.
Shivaays’ trailer was a treat! Visually spectacular is an understatement for the trailer of Ajay Devgn’s dream project that turned out to be disappointing for many. Critics bashed the movie left-right-centre.

Peppy music, outstanding VFX and artwork, Kangana Ranaut and dhamakedaar dialogues in the trailer made everyone super excited for Katti Batti. And rest we know is history…
Ranbir , Arjun and Jacqueline looked like a fresh cast with promising music and an intriguing storyline built quite a lot of hype for the movie. But, the film tanked!
Viewers were promised that they’d never seen something like this before. The mega budget movie with an entourage of big names from Bollywood had a grand trailer, which could do little to save the velvet from ruining.
With Shahid and Alia and a rocking music album, fun artwork and dialogues, who’d have thought that Shaandaar would be so despised by the audience?
Kickass trailer with highly creative scenes and so much hardwork, right from peeing behind rocks to kissing in mud, nothing literally helped Rangoon from biting dust. Even a deadly combo of Shahid and Vishal wasn’t enough to save the movie.
Hauntingly beautiful sceneries, exceptional hype around Katrina’s look, and Amit Trivedi’s music made a stellar trailer for Fitoor, but the movie we all know, was disappointing.
Hrithik Roshan rarely produces trailers which don’t build hype, Mohenjo Daro was no exception. Ashutosh Gowariker’s magnum opus bombed.
