5 Things You Need To Know About Aditya Chopra's Comeback Film Befikre

In a year of several highly anticipated films, Befikre stands on its own. This Aditya Chopra film is one of the only big projects of this year whose main selling point is the potential chemistry between its two leads. 

But that's where the conventionality of the film ends.

The upcoming Yash Raj project is poised to be an important film of the year--and here are the key things that the audience must know:

Not a conventional romance film

In an official statement by YRF, it was announced that the film would be an experimental film. The film is also reported to be a coming of age romance that will revolve around its two leads:cRanveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor.

Aditya Chopra returns to directing again

It is kind of shocking that someone as prolific as Aditya Chopra had directed only three movies in two decades of career. After  a gap of 8 years, Befikre will be the ace filmmaker's fourth directorial.

Primarily shot in France

Most of the film has been shot in the French capital Paris. There are reports that some of the scenes are shot in another European country, Switzerland.

Kisses galore

It is unlikely that the film would be a mass entertainer like other Yash Raj films. The film will have a reported 23 kisses in the film along with several bold scenes. Some reports also report that there will be a few nude scenes in the film. 

Release date

The film is scheduled to release on December 9.
