5 Movies Of Allari Naresh That Shouldn't Have Been Made

As actor Allari Naresh celebrates his birthday today, we chalked out a few films that he shouldn't have possibly done. Though some were selections that can be termed experiments, he should have been more responsible to his loyalists in making them witness such catastrophic results. Here we go on.

1. Dhanalakshmi I Love You (2002)

An early mistake after which Allari Naresh managed to find his homeground,Dhanalakshmi I Love You,directed by the Money maker Siva Nageswar Rao, the official remake of the Hindi blockbuster Hera Pheri marked a poor follow-up to his first film and success, Allari. He along with the lesser known actor Aditya Om formed a disastrous lineup in their effort to match up to the calibre of Akshay and Suneil Shetty, not to mention the unpardonable antics of Naresh to do a Paresh Rawal.

2. Party (2006)

What was exactly Ravi Babu trying to do with Party ? We still don't have an answer. While we didn't really mind the mindlessness that Allari Naresh's films were known for, this stretched the barrell rather too much, even for a viewer who was willing to make a compromise.

3. Subhapradam (2010)

K Vishwanath's Subhapradam is an example that there's no choice for a maker of his credibility too but to change with the times to find acceptability with the contemporary crowds. Though we can't quite start knit-picking on what went wrong with Subhapradam, we understand that Naresh did use this opportunity for the experience of working with a doyen and not for the story. A rather unfortunate selection, it did no good to boost either Naresh's career or K Vishwanath's legacy.

4. Action 3D (2013)

An excited producer wants to turn a director. He is the Dookudu producer Anil Sunkara. What's the film ? He watches Hangover and tweaks the international setting to Goa. Who's the Bali Ka Bakra ? Allari Naresh. Why ? He has an eye for comedy more than any possible actor, especially after Sunil's departure from character roles. The release put a serious blot on the actor's career and warned him that success, even for someone of his repute can't be taken for granted. Need we say more about the three-dimensional torture ?

5. Laddu Babu (2014)

We get back to Ravi Babu yet again. For every Manasara or an Anasuya, he comes up with something like Laddu Babu to prove our hopes wrong. Allari Naresh was protrayed as a 268 kg weighing obese who loses all his fat, thanks to a liposuction surgery, only to undo it in the last minute and get back to 284 kgs by making him consume Ghee. Does this really make sense ? What in this made Naresh select the story, we wonder.
