A Girl On The Voice Kids Sang ‘Phir Le Aya Dil’, And She’s As Good As Rekha Bhardwaj

All right! We don’t know what you’re doing with your life on weekends if you’re not watching this fabulous show called The Voice Kids on & TV.

Little kids with talent beyond your imagination are quietly taking over the music industry, and it’s time we accept that there’ll be more Arijits, Alka Yagniks, Shaans, and other singers in a few years.

With children being fans of Lata Mangeshkar, Bala Subramaniam, at the nascent age of 6 – 13, we think the future of music is now in safe hands, thanks to talent shows like The Voice India Kids.

We came across this girl singing Phir Le Aya Dil from Barfi and we think she’s slaying it. Rekha Bhardwaj should watch her and may be she’ll find a glimpse of herself in Asmi, who stole the hearts of judges in her audition.

Asmi Mukherjee, who hails from Kolkata, is learning classical music from past 9 years. All of 13, she is a proud recipient of more than 10 awards in various prestigious singing competitions. Not just music but she is also good at playing harmonium. She follows the music maestro Jagjit Singh, Ghulam Ali, Mehndi Hassan and mostly all Ghazal artists. She is a big fan of Ranbir Kapoor & Katrina Kaif.

Here’s a sneak peek into her performance:
