Abhimanyu Roy Of Meri Pyaari Bindu Is Here! And He Will Make You Go Weak On Your Knees!

Yash Raj Films has finally released the second video of Meri Pyaari Bindu. And it introduces Abhimanyu Roy played by the actor-singer Ayushmann Khurrana, who looks amazing as the Bengali writer churning out a horror story which is more sleazy than frightening.

Ayushmann Khurrana, who had married a Bong in Vicky Donor, looks perfect as the white kurta clad Bong writer. His beard gives that perfect writer wali feel. He also incorporates Bengali into his speech, using colloquial terms. 

The distinctive feature of the video is its setting. The video captures the old world charm of Kolkata. Set in the gully of North Kolkata, you find quintessential Bengali culture- the houses, the yellow taxi, the hand pulled rickshaw, the chai ki kettle and the newspaper!  Such is the setting that the typewriter does not look out of place.  The movie takes you back to some good old time, and nothing could have made it possible except for the archaic lanes of Shovabazar or Shyambazar which seems stuck in time!

The shooting has began this month. We can't wait for the release of the movie! And to hear the actors sing for the film!
