Ajay Devgn To Reunite With Sanjay Leela Bhansali After 17 Years?

While, Ajay Devgn is still waiting for the release of his upcoming thriller Shivaay that will hit the screens on October 28, reports of him signing Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next are taking the rounds. If these turned out to be true, then the movie will mark their reunitement after the gap of 17-long-years. There last project together was the 1999 hit romantic drama flick Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.

It was said that Devgn was approached by Bhansali last year also for Bajirao Mastani, however the former turned down the latter’s offer owing to some disagreements on the terms and conditions of his contract. And now, the rumours are swimming across that the ace filmmaker is making a remake of a South Indian film and he has finalised the Singham star to play the leading man in the same. More details about the film are yet to come.

However, an insider was quoted as saying that, “The storyline of the project has been kept under wraps and the hunt of the director is on”. It is also being heard that Shabina Khan will serve as the co-producer of the film. She has previously worked with Bhansali in films like Rowdy Rathore and Gabbar Is Back. However, an official announcement on the same is still awaited.
