After months of speculation about the fractured relationship between Ajay Devgn and director Rohit Shetty, it is now confirmed that the two will reunite once again for Golmaal 4.
The sequel to the incredibly successful series of comedy films, the will be the actor and director’s tenth collaboration!
Golmaal series

The Golmaal series, which have grossed over ₹300 crores globally, has a changing star-cast. Along with Ajay, Arshad Warsi and Tushar Kapoor have appeared in all the three films. Previously, Kareena Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Paresh Rawal and Mithun Chakraborty have all appeared in the film series.
While Golmaal 3 is the most commercially successful of the three, the first Golmaal is often regarded the best of the lot.
The Rift

According to sources, Rohit was to make Ram Lakhan after Rohit Shetty made Dilwale with Shah Rukh Khan and wife Kajol. But that didn’t work out and caused a rift between the frequent collaborators.
This caused Ajay Devgn to move to work on Shivaay, and he barely spoke with Rohit Shetty during that time.
But, recently, the two sat down and discussed the possibility of working together and the idea of Golmaal 4 was finalised.
Long-standing relationship
Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty go back a long way, having worked together in nine movies so far. It was Ajay Devgn who gave Rohit Shetty his first big break when he directed the Shivaay star in 2003’s Zameen.
We hope that their super-hit partnership goes on forever, while doing epic stuff like this:
