Here's What Akshaye Khanna Said About Dil Chahta Hai Sequel

We all remember Dil Chahta Hai like we watched it yesterday. Farhan Akhtar's debut film, this modern tale about friendship and love will forever be etched on our hearts,

And as with deeply-loved movies, us audience is always open to another chapter, another story. But as it turns out, it's not only the viewers who want another film, but the cast itself.

Akshaye Khanna, who recently appeared in Dishoom, has expressed desire for Dil Chahta Hai sequel.

The actor, in an interview, showed his eagerness to work on the project but he has certain reservations also. The actor said: “I’ll leave everything to act in it. I’ll do it  provided the script is fantastic. Also, it has to receive a collective thumbs up from the rest of the team.”

The actor, who recently caught the attention when he surprised everyone by appearing in Dishoom, talked about his absence his well. "The role really excited me and we had a great cast. Since I had taken such a long break, the first three to four films… I wanted to do substantial roles but smaller parts just to get back into the rhythm,” he said.

Well, we hope to see him again very soon!
