Alia Bhatt Opens Up About Her Relationship With Sidharth Malhotra

Udta Punjab star, Alia Bhatt has garnered acclaim for her powerful performance in the movie. The actress has always been in the limelight either for her movies or for her relationships. For quite sometime, it's been reported that Alia and Sidharth who made their Bollywood debut together in Karan Johar's 'Student of the Year' have been secretly seeing each other. The two have never confirmed or denied about it. 

But recently, if reports are to be believed, the two have parted ways. According to Mumbai Mirror, the two have not spoken to each other for a long time. Sidharth had not even attended Udta Punjab's premier because he's busy shooting in Miami. The reason behind their breakup seems that Alia does not want Shraddha Kapoor to work with Sid. 

Recently, the Shaandaar actress spoke to DNA, and here's what she had to say:

"Oh God! So that’s how this whole thing about me being upset with Shraddha started? Let me just say this loud and clear — I am single and Sid is a supportive and extremely important friend in my life and will always be that.

"As a friend, rather than asking him not to do films with any actress, I keep telling Sid to work with every person because I think he has all the charm, talent and sexiness in the world and the potential to become the biggest superstar of this country! Never in my life, will we ever tell each other what we should or should not do."
