Unless you're a die-hard Salman Khan fan, chances are that you have not have found Sultan flawless. Not to say that Sultan isn't a decent movie -- it is -- but to downrightly call it good cinema isn't correct either.

One of the things that the massively successful movie has come under fire for is the way the Anushka Sharma's character gets sidelined in the plot of the movie.

In case you are one of the rare Indian human beings that haven't watched the movie, Anushka Sharma's Aarfa is a wrestler too. Not only that she is a better wrestler than Salman Khan's Sultan. She is a state champion with an aim to win an Olympic gold, while Salman Khan doesn't know the W of wrestling.

Skipping forward, Salman Khan, in order to impress her, becomes a wrestler and they fall in love. So together they wrestle and together they win. But before the Olympics preparation, Aarfa gets pregnant and in an instant decides that she wants to quit the pursuit of her lifelong dream and become a mother.

And it is this decision that didn't sit too well with many, who thought that the decision was regressive.

But now Anushka Sharma has opened about her character's choices. And boy, does she have some reasonable arguments.

Firstly, the actress took to Twitter and posted this letter by the tennis player Victoria Azarenka, who is taking a break from the sport.

For all those who have had reservations about the movie and the character, these arguments would change things.
