Baahubali 2 Makes 100 Crore A Passé, Collects 1000 Crores Worldwide!

Gone are the days when we celebrated 100 crore club movies brecause Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is here.

There were times when we would talk about a movie entering the 100 crore club. This club was elite and only a chosen few could become so popular among the masses so as to enter this club. We would talk about these movies for days and would discuss what factors made them so popular. But that was before the storm called Baahubali 2: The Conclusion hit the box office.

SS Rajamouli's epic drama, Baahubali 2 has become the first Indian cinema to collect 1000 crore at the box office. Yes, it has created a new benchmark for movies by crossing the 1000 crore mark in just 10 days of its release!

Bollywood has had high worldwide grossers like Dangal, PK, Bhagrangi Bhaijaan, Dhoom 3 and Sultan that collected over 500 crore worldwide. In fact, Aamir Khan is popular worldwide and his films now generally always earn more than 500 crores. But none could mint so much at the worlddwide box office in a record time!

The Hindi version of the movie has also become the fastest movie to enter the 300 crore club in India. It is also the first Hindi dubbed movie to collect so much at the box-office!
