This Biggest Record Set By Baahubali 2 Looks Impossible To Be Broken!

The unthinkable has finally happened! The Hindi version of Baahubali 2 has pulled off something we as audiences could never have imagined until today. The Hindi version of the film has created the 500 crore club and has become the first Hindi movie to be able to do so. The film in its fifth week achieved the stupendous feat and thereby set new benchmarks for future films to look up to.

While many would argue this record will some or the other day be surpassed by a biggie but trade logics would make us think otherwise. Even the biggest Khan release at its maximum potential could only go as far 387 crores when Dangal broke all records earlier this year. Baahubali on the other hand was a festival of a release and people all across the world had been going crazy in anticipation.

Therefore, to expect a Bollywood film to break its record in the near future would not only be unthinkable but extremely silly. What Baahubali 2 at large has done for upcoming Bollywood biggies is set higher targets. While the Prabhas led epic big screen bonanza has earned 500 crores, no Bollywood movie has even entered the 400 crore club.

Even the regional biggies starring the likes of Rajinikanth would find it impossible to sail past the figures of Baahubali 2 since this Rajamouli directorial came with a massive build-up to itself. Baahubali’s all versions combined have netted more than a 1000 crores at Indian box office alone. This itself seems like an unsurpassable milestone unless of course Rajamouli decides to make Baahubali 3 with the same cast.

Anyway, that’s a discussion for some day later, at the moment let’s celebrate the fact that Baahubali 2 Hindi has inaugurated the 500 crore club.
