Bareilly Ki Barfi has finally released as a refreshing new romance. Made on a small budget the film has some interesting characters to look forward to especially the protagonists played by Rajkummar Rao, Aysuhmann Khurrana and Kriti Sanon. In an otherwise dull year for Bollywood, the film can do well given that it gets the right word of mouth.
But if you are planning to watch the film in theatres here’s a pictorial review that you really need to see before you head for the theatres.
A bindass girl from a small town in U.P who is in her own world breaking the rules and breaking stereotypes. Her parents want to get her married while she is chasing her potential lover who apparently wrote a book on her.
A printing press owner and a closet book writer who has certain aspirations about a girl he wants to fall in love with. A true-blue romantic and totally selfish about what he wants, Chirag Dubey is a refreshing Bollywood lover.
He is coy, simple and an introvert and has to face a lot of hassles and can win over any girl with his simplicity. But he is certainly unlucky in love and we totally loved his character.
The film retains the 'local' flavor and is certainly a laugh riot. A character driven film with a straight forward storyline, if you want to go for a simple yet effective story you must certainly watch Bareilly Ki Barfi.
If you have watched the movie do not forget to rate it and review it on Desimartini.
