He made Titanic which went on to become the highest grossing film in the world only to be beaten by his magnum opus, Avatar. Yes, this man made two of the highest grossing films of all time! Described by a biographer as part-scientist and part-artist, he took special effects to a whole new level by co-developing the 3D Fusion Camera System. Did we mention he has won three Oscars?

    Cameron created a whole new planet, a whole new species of aliens and a whole new language for the biggest and riskiest movie ever made. Avatar took 10 years and $300 million to make. A simple love story caught in a conflict between man and nature told through the unparalleled imagination and technical brilliance of James Cameron. This was more than a movie, this was an experience.

    3. A tie between The Terminator (1984) and Terminator 2: Judgement Day (1991)

    James Cameron's Terminator films remain one of the most original science fiction films of all time. T2: Judgment Day is also a treat for action film fans with lots of repeat value and rare case when the sequel is better than the original. Arnold Schwarzenegger own his role and became a big movie star due to these films.
