Ranked: 5 Best Performances Of Hrithik Roshan!

There may have been several of those occasions when you probably were let down by Hrithik Roshan’s choice of mainstream cinema over the years. However, even in those fluctuating choices of work, he made sure to keep his quality of performances constant. Hrithik Roshan is a class apart and there are now two thoughts about it, but the way he has kept up with the times and challenges has been absolutely fabulous.

In a career ranging well over one and a half decade, it’s not that easy to pick his finest performance for there are far too many. However, we still narrowed down to some of his work that were distinctively unique and made our top 5 picks.

So here are 5 of his best performances ranked:

5 – Aryan in Dhoom 2

It’s quite a thing to have delivered one of your most stylishly appealing performances in a mainstream entertaining movie. Above all the disguises, breathtaking stunts, feet tapping dance moves and action, there was a feel attached to Hrithik’s character that meat much more. He was brilliant in expressing those deep emotions in the later parts of the movie.

4 – Vijay Chauhan in Agneepath

The best part about watching Hrithik recreate this iconic character was his intention of not matching to that level. What we saw in Big B’s version of this character was outrageously dissimilar to Hrithik’s portrayal. So much so, that he made it look like a different character and a different movie altogether. The angst, the conviction, the aggression was so fabulously etched that it lifted the quality of Agneepath manifold.

3 – Karan Shergil in Lakshya

One of the most connecting performances by Hrithik in this inspirational movie meant that he truly worked hard for this role. Essaying two different shades of character for halves of the movie, his dedication in this Farhan Akhtar directorial seemed evident. As much you laughed with him in the lighter moments, he definitely made you shed some tears along with him too.

2 – Jalal Ud-Din Muhammad Akbar in Jodha Akbar

Once again a very well researched and deeply thought through performance where he let his expressions do most of the talking. As a bending husband trying to settle himself in a sudden marriage, he let us into his heart with his performance and solidified fine chemistry with Aishwarya Rai. It was much to do with his portrayal of Akbar that Jodha Akbar was able to build itself up as a romantic saga.

1 – Rohit Mehra in Koi.. Mil Gaya

We all were totally blown away by his on screen sketching of a mentally challenged boy befriending an alien, weren’t we? If an actor is able to make the viewers believe in the story with his performance alone, it’s a victory. He probably lived that character from within and then came out with his own version of how Rohit Mehra should act like and he did it wonderfully.

Not that we want to end this on a rough note but here’s a gentle reminder to the readers that the genius did something called Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon as well! What’s your favorite Hrithik Roshan performance?
