Bigg Boss 10: Gaurav Chopra Picks Bani J To Go Out On A Date With

It was Lopa’s first day as the new captain of the house and she finally discovered how difficult it was to sustain even one day as a captain with such controversial contestants in tow.  The day began with the contestants talking about the previous day’s captaincy task which Lopa won and Manveer and Bani lost. Bani again expressed her wish to go back home in front of Gaurav who says that if she leaves then it would be very difficult of him to survive in the house.

Here are highlights of the day –

The punished – Lopa’s very first task as a captain is to name 5 contestants who she would want to punish in the house and Lopa names Swami Om, Bani, Priyanka, Gaurav and Nitibha for some personal reasons. The house gets into a full debate over the matter and Swami Om tries to justify himself as usual.

The ugly spat between Priyanka and Lopa – Things turn ugly between Priyanka and Lopa when the former confronts the new captain about nominating her for punishment. Priyanka feels that her name was unjustified on the punishment list and Lopa reminds her of how she threw water in her face during the captaincy task and Priyanka reminds her that is was her duty to distract her. Cat calling begins and the two get into a shrill verbal argument where Priyanka calls Lopa a make up ki dukan.

The alternate plans of Bigg Boss – Bigg Boss presents an opportunity to the punished five where they can flip their punishment into a reward. The five contestants stand in front a box each which would shoot out a gift box at any surprising moment. All that these five have to do is to catch the gift and whatever it holds is their reward. While Swami ji jokes that Bigg Boss must shoot off something from Nitibha’s box so that they learn and also get entertained, it actually happens. The gift that shoots out is also caught by Nitibha and she gets a letter from her home.

Up next is Gaurav who also catches his box and gets a dinner date with a contestant of his choice. He picks Bani for the date as expected. He is later heard saying though that such tasks should happen in the third or fourth week where everyone is still trying to know each other and he actually has to think who to pick.

While Omji is talking to Gaurav and is distracted, his box shoots up and he misses it. Bani also misses her box which could have got her a video message from home. Priyanka had to wait too long and she misses her gift as well, which could have led her to punish another contestant.

The punishment for those that failed – Bani, Priyanka and Swamiji who failed to grab their gifts now have to be punished and Lopa has to take the call as to which two contestants go to jail and one who will follow her around with a pluck card that reads ‘Lopa I Am Sorry’. Lopa picks Bani and Omji to go to jail and Priyanka to hold the plack card. Bani says she would not go to jail with Omji for anything in the world because he used some cured words for her mother.

Priyanka says she wouldn’t do either, that is follow Priyanka or go to jail with Omji. This confusion takes too much to solve as Omji says that he would bring the house down if he has to stay in jail with Bani.  Manveer suggests that Lopa has Omji to follow her and Bani and Priyanka in jail. Lopa says that she cannot have Omji following her as his gaze makes her really uncomfortable.  At hearing this Omji gets offended saying that this is one statement he cannot take as he is not looked sexually at any girl in the house or outside.

Bigg Boss asks the three punished contestants to follow what Lopa says and get on with the punishment immediately. At Bani’s pleading she allows Bani to hold the plack card and follow her while, Omji and Priyanka go to jail.

Omji throws away food – When Omji and Priyanka are given ffo in jail Omji syas that he would not eat until Lopa says sorry for her offending comment. Lopa refuses to say sorry and Om ji throws away the dinner that is served to him and pisses off everybody.

Later at night Lopa is seen breaking down in front of Rahul and Gaurav where she tells Rahul that is is really difficult to stay this way in a house where everyone is so contradictory and things are so difficult to manage. At nearly 3 at night Bigg boss announces that the punishment of the three contestants is now over. The weekend is now here and it would be great seeing Salman taking a dig at the behaviours of these inmates and to see who gets evicted this week.
