WATCH: The Trailer Of US President Barack Obama's Biopic Is Finally Out!

Barack Obama’s biopic trailer is out and it will give you feels. It is named Barry and the description on Netflix reads as follows:

A young Barack Obama, known to his friends as “Barry,” arrives in New York City in the fall of 1981 to begin his junior year at Columbia University. In a crime-ridden and racially charged environment, Barry finds himself pulled between various social spheres and struggles to maintain a series of increasingly strained relationships with his Kansas-born mother, his estranged Kenyan father, and his classmates.Barry is the story of a young man grappling with those same issues that his country, and arguably the world, are still coming to terms with 35 years later. Only on Netflix December 16.

It stars Devon Terrell as Barack Obama, and is directed by Vikram Gandhi who is known for his work on Kumare (2011) which was a story of a false prophet.

It was selected to be screened at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2016 and releases on Netflix on December 16, 2016. The film has 86% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes and is being appreciated by the critics. Watch the trailer here:
