All over the world, Bollywood is famous/infamous for a few things. Of course, there is the obsession with musicals. But there is also the plagiarism, the immense star power, the nepotism, the lack of space for independent cinema, unique fandom. Also, Bollywood -- in fact, whole of Indian film industry -- is widely known for the number of films produced each year. 

Of course, there are many reasons behind such a high number of films produced in our country.
