Bollywood Actresses Who Can Best Recreate The Dil Chahta Hai Magic!

One of the best films that happened to Bollywood since the onset of the millennium has been Dil Cahta Hai. It’s been Farhan Akhtar’s most memorable gift to the youth, a film that truly defined the modern day relationships and the bonds of friendships. A refreshing as the film was to our senses we were always glad that the film never had a sequel simply in the fear that it might just ruin the beauty of the original. But here is Farhan Akhtar who has a better prospect for the film we loved so dearly, making a girl gang version of the film! Ever since these words fell out of his mouth recently, we couldn’t contain our thought as to who would we like to see in this fiesta.

Akash who is an all out believer in casual flings, Sameer who believes all casual relationships to be true love and Siddharth who is mature and aloof from love, it would be great to see three females full off such a Dostana on careen!

So we set out to think which three girls could recreate the awesomeness Akshaye, Aamir and Saif created onscreen. Here are the girls that came to our mind.

Alia Bhatt, Tapsee Pannu, Parineeti Chopra – While we truly believe nobody can do a better female Sameer than this chirpy actress, Prineeti could definitely pull off a female Akash. Tapsee’s gravitational appeal make her a good prospect for a female Siddharth.

Lisa Hydon, Kangana Ranaut, Radhika Apte – After her short but impactful ADHM stint our faith in Lisa has solidified that she can be a great Sameer. Kangana and her terrific acting could definitely make for a good Akash and we have no doubt on Radhika doing wonders with the role of a Siddharth.

Kalki Keochlin, Priyanka Chopra, Huma Qureshi – Another actress we can bet on to play a great Sameer is Kalki and Priyanka is our safest bet on an Akash. Huma fits our idea of a Siddharth because we want to see more of the actress and that too in such an off beat role we can totally rely on her to do wonders.
