8 Bollywood Actresses Who Signed Their Second Bollywood Film Years After Their Debut

To kick start a career in Bollywood is one thing, but to be able to sustain it is completely another. There are so many Bollywood actresses, for example, who debuted in Bollywood to disappear all too soon. But while we nearly forgot about their debut as years passed, they took a leisurely long time to sign their second Bollywood film and came back after a few years. While their reasons for taking ages to sign their second film vary, they did surprise us with their comebacks. Here is a list of Bollywood actresses who signed their second Bollywood film after a really long time.

Dimple Kapadia – The veteran Bollywood actress was 16 years old when got married to superstar Rajesh Khanna and her first film Bobby released soon after in 1973. The film was a mega success, but Dimple was too busy with her married life and kids and took a long time to return to the movies. Her second film, Zakhmi Sher came out in 1984, nearly a decade after her debut!

Bhagyashree –The she was a massive hit after debut in Maine Pyaar Kiya 1989 and then she was nowhere to be seen and forgotten all too soon. Her second bollywood film Qaid Mein Hai Bulbul came in 1992 and was a massive flop and so was the rest of her career. She then ventured into television.

Radhika Apte –After a very forgettable debut in Wah! Life Ho Toh Aisi (2005), in a supporting role, Radhika did a few regional films and only came back to Bollywood in 2010 with the film The Waiting Room, but that too flopped. Her breakthrough film was Shor : In The City in 2011.

Tamanah Bhatia – Her acting debut was the flop Bollywood film Chand Sa Roshan Cehra in 2005. She moved on to south Indian films and got really popular and only came back to Bollywood in 2013 with the mega flop Himmatwala.

Diana Penty – She was certainly noticed and appreciated in her debut film Cocktail that released in 2012, that also starred Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone. After much anticipation around her disappearing act from Bollywood after her debut, she came back with her second film, Happy Bhag Jaegi in 2016.

Kajal Agarwal – Her debut was a forgettable side role in the 2004 film Kyun! Ho Gaya Na.. She also ventured into South Indian films only to come back to Bollywood as a lead actress in Singham in 2011.

Vaani Kapoor – Her debut was in Sudh Desi Romance opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in 2013 and then she vanished into thin air and did a Tamil film in between. Her second Bollywood film Befikre released in 2016 where she seemed have got a massive make over from her Sudh Desi Romance look.

Amy Jackson  - The actress made her Bollywood debut with the film Ekk Deewana Tha in 2012 which tanked at the box office. She only got her second Bollywood film in 2015, Singh Is Bliing, that also starred Akshay Kumar.
