5 Actors Who Played Their Own Parents In Bollywood Movies!

There have been some really peculiar things in Bollywood that have always pricked our curiosity. There are actors who have played the good guys, bad guys, no bodies or even played their own parents in Bollywood films. While everything else is perfectly acceptable, it is entirely weird that actors have had to play their own parents! While the actors looking similar is one thing, playing their parents is entirely something else! Take a look at these few Bollywood actors who have played their own parents in movies.

Hrithik Roshan  - A super hero sequel to Koi Mil Gaya, Rohit who is the father of Krrish and is assumed to be dead, is found alive in the climax of the film and there is an emotional reunion of the father and son, both played by Hrithik Roshan.

Amitabh Bachchan – The veteran Bollywood actor has played both the lead and his own father in two films, Suryavansham and Akhri Rasta. While Set Max has made it a point that we never forget Suryavansham, Akhri Rasta was another good film by the actor.

Shah Rukh Khan – The actor had a triple role in the movie, English Babu Desi Mem where he played the role of twin brothers and his own father in the movie. The film is about a rich NRI who comes to India looking for his nephew and falls in love. 

Rajesh Khanna – The superstar was seen in a double role in the 1981 film Dard. It the  story of father who is not able to tell his son about his real identity because he is accused of murder and is facing jail time. His son is seen fighting the case against him in the climax. Both the father and son are played by Rajesh Khanna.

Madhuri Dixit – In the film Sangeet she is seen playing a dancer who fails to live her dream and wants her daughter to be a successful dancer. The role of the mother and daughter is played by Madhuri Dixit herself.
