5 Bollywood Flops That Are All Set To Get A Sequel

Bollywood is not having a very bright year at the box office so far in 2017. While it seems that Bollywood is already running out on concepts and ideas to make good films around, the number of sequels to even the remotely successful films are definitely on the rise. If you have not had enough of the unending chain of sequels then there is more waiting for you in the near future, namely sequels of films that have already flopped at the box office!

The makers of these flop films seem to not had their fill of box office flops and are now willing to risk their money on another film on similar lines. 

Total Dhamaal – Total Dhamaal is in the making even after the mega failure of its predecessor Double Dhamaal which released in 2011. The newest film in the franchise will release in 2018 and Ajay Devgn has come on board as the lead actor in this slap stick comedy.

Aksar 2 – The 2006 film Aksar that starred Udita Goswami and Emraan Hashmi in the lead, tanked at the box office despite some good music. Well the film that is way back in the forgotten history of Bollywood is getting a sequel nearly 11 years later with Aksar 2. The film will star Zareen Khan, TV heart throb Gautam Rode and Abhinav Shukla.

Detective Byomkesh Bakshy – The only second film of Sushant Singh Rajput in the industry was a mega flop that got no audiences. Regardless of the fact, a sequel to the film is in making which might find a release in 2018.

Tom Dick and Harry 2 -  The mega flop from 2006 starring Dino Morea, Jimmy Shergill, Anuj Sawhney, Celina Jaitley and Kim Sharma, that you might have to strain your brain hard to remember, is also getting a sequel. Dipak Tijori is making Tom, Dick and Harry 2.

Commando 3 – If you have having a heart ache reading this name on the list after the super flop that Commando 2 was you will not be pleased to  know that the third installment of the film is on the cards and Vidyut Jamwal who plays the lead has some big plans with this one.

While their originals are super flops we sincerely hope that these sequels survive at the box office.
