With an extended opening weekend and a fair amount of craze throughout North India, Tiger Shroff’s superhero outing was expected to fetch some good numbers, however, the results have mostly relied on children’s turnout. The film despite having garnered enough buzz on social media hasn’t translated it into solid numbers, something that Tiger’s previous release Baaghi did.

After having opened to a moderate 7.10 crores on Thursday, the film earned 6 crores on Friday. Showing a little growth on Saturday, A Flying Jatt raked in 7.35 crores. Directed by Remo D’Souza, the film now stands at a tally of 20.45 crores. With a possible bountiful weekend in prospect, the film should have closed its weekend in the range of 30 to 35 crores. However, it is expected to fall well short of that mark. A lot would now depend on its weekdays performances. If the film continues to get good support from kids, it may well place itself safe and recover costs.

On the other hand, Akshay Kumar’s Rustom that’s running in its third week still hasn’t given up at all. The film in its third weekend collected 1.25 crores on Friday and added another 2 crores on Saturday. The Akshay Kumar starrer has now gone beyond 120 crore mark and is looking to earn a super-hit status to its name. With Sonakshi Sinha’s Akira slated to arrive this week, the game is going to grow even more interesting.
