Next Big Clash Of 2017 Is Here: It’s Irrfan Vs Ayushmann Vs Big B At Box Office

2017 had begun on a rather conflicting note with Shah Rukh and Hrtihik locking horns with each other at box office. While 2016 was a year setting trends about box office clashes, looks like this year is also walking on the same road of accommodating more than one release on a Friday. The next big clash happening at the box office is not just a clash, it’s a triangular fight.

Yes, three mainstream movies with fairly similar popular appeal will come out on May 12^th. The films are Big B starrer Sarkar 3, Ayushmann-Parineeti starrer Meri Pyari Bindu & Irrfan Khan starrer Hindi Medium. While it is interesting why the makers have chosen to come out on the same day, it will really be interesting to see if one of them backs out now.

As IPL is set to wrap its season by May 21, the producers are aware that all later slots have already been occupied by biggies post the cricketing event. However, the clash is most likely to happen since there are no other vacant releases around May 12^th. Also to be noted is how three movies of the same budget but different target audiences will fare at box office. While Meri Pyari Bindu is a fun romantic movie, Sarkar comes from the brand of gangster driven family drama. The third end of the fight is held by Irrfan Khan whose Hindi Medium is again a fun filled film around kids and education.

We guess Box Office clashes part 2 are set for a return in 2017!
