5 Reasons Why Cammando 2: The Black Money Trail Was A Total Disappointment!

Watched and loved Commando? Then there’s a word for you- please do not try and compare the second part to it! And you might do away with the idea of watching the movie too!

The movie might impress all the action fanatics out there. But as a person who had been looking out for a wholesome experience, this movie was a huge disappointment. Here are 5 reasons why I feel this movie is a total disaster:

1.  An attempt to strike a chord with the general feeling in the country now

So you saw a Force 2 that was about the surgical strikes. Or MSG. Do you see a pattern there? It might be co-incidental for Force 2, but the makers are trying to make movies that will reflect the major conditions that our country is in! I mean people can relate to it, and given the amount of debate that these topics like surgical strikes or demonitization are raising, people might be attracted to the theatres too. It is totally cool- as long as you have a great storyline, which sadly most of these films are missing. Commando 2: The Black Money Trail, as the title suggests, is focused on the demonitization and the attempt to bring back the black money for the benefit of the general public.  But in an attempt to make a movie on the general feeling pervading in the country, the plot, the story and even the background music was compromised!

2. Thumbs Up on action but thumbs down on everything else

If you have someone like Vidyut Jammwal, you can be rest assured that the action sequences are going to be terrific. We saw a glimpse of it in the trailer as well! But the movie was just beyond everything. The action sequences looks forced. There were times that the plot will just mess with you and that’s not in a good way. It will suddenly be out of hand, and head and will make you go ‘whaatttt’!

3. The irritating background music

I can’t explain this anymore. It was just plain BAD. It will not just irritate the shit out of you but also make your head reel!

4. The cast is sexy, but will annoy the hell out of you!

From Vidyut Jammwal to Adah Sharma to Esha Gupta and Freddy Daruwala, the cast is hot as hell. But then what were they doing? I couldn’t figure out even after two and a half hours. They were trying their best, but it did not make much sense in the entire setup!

5. The dialogues will make you want to kill yourself.

I won’t divulge much or give out spoilers. But allow me to just write one dialogue that will prove my point:

“Hume toh undercover jana tha, but madam toh without cover aa gai.”

A lot of effort was required; there were more than enough scopes of improvement. It looks like a very half-hearted effort- both from the scriptwriter and the director!

I will rate it a 1.5 stars. And I will deduct .5 from it for all the meaningless kisses in the film. 1 from me!
