Here Are All The Character Details Of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil That You Should Know

Yesterday, after an endless wait, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil's first look was revealed and once again we were transported to Karan Johar's fantasy world of gorgeous people getting immense emotional.

Probably the best part of the teaser, from a neutral perspective, as to how it posed more questions than it answered. Especially, regarding who exactly is in love with whom/ who is heartbroken by whom.

So, after much internet surfing, we have dig out the character details about the film's four protagonists: Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Aishwarya Rai and Fawad Khan.

Ranbir Kapoor

The actor will be playing the character of a singer/performer named Ayan. It's because of his career because of which he keeps on travelling the world and becomes great friends with Anushka Sharma.

Anushka Sharma

Anushka will don the role of Pakistani girl who goes by the name of Alizeh. She and Ayan (Ranbir Kapoor) bond over their love of eighties and seventies music and become friends in the process.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Aishwarya will be playing the character of Saba, a Urdu poet. She has an illicit affair with Ranbir Kapoor' character. It has also been reported that her character would be that of widower, with Shah Rukh Khan playing the role of her deceased husband.

Fawad Khan

Fawad Khan's role would not be as big as the other three leads but it won't be a cameo either. It is rumoured that the actor would have a romantic angle with either Anushka Sharma or Aishwarya Rai's character, because of which there is a rift between his character and Ranbir's.

The movie is scheduled to release on October 28, opposite Ajay Devgn's Shivaay.
