5 Reasons Why Dishoom Will Be Full-On Popcorn Entertainment

It has been a funny year for Bollywood. Despite producing several good films this year, the industry has fallen prey to Hollywood projects at the box-office. This gone-by weekend was an anomaly and this time a Tamil movie trumped a Bollywood release as Rajnikanth's Kabali came out ahead of Irrfan Khan's Madaari.

But this weekend feels different.

John Abraham-Varun Dhawan starrer Dishoom is all set to release and even though there are big Hollywood movies like Ghostbusters releasing also, we feel that our own Bollywood will reign the markets.

Here are the expectations from the movie itself:

Insight into the dark world of cricket match-fixing.

Okay, since it is a Bollywood entertainer, we do not exactly expect true insight. But there will at least be a fresh perspective as the Bollywood movie tries to go behind the scenes of hooplah behind the cricket world. 

Akshaye Khanna will be scene-stealing.

We didn't know until we saw the trailer that we actually missed Akshaye Khanna. And like the trailer, the movie will be a further proof of what a talent he is.

Some decent humour.

Well, David Dhawan's son is directing the movie, while his other son stars in it. So we should expect some genuine rib-tickling moments, right?

It will be a treat for action fans.

While humour might not always be on point, the action definitely will be. Expect John Abraham and Varun Dhawan to perform some high-octane and pulsating scenes.
