BUT, thankfully, it has nor happened--not even a bit.

The critics have lauded the movie, which is set up in 1920s New York and stars Eddie Redmayne and Colin Firth. The movie is directed by David Yates and written by J.K. Rowling herself.

According to Newsday, "J.K. Rowling's "Harry Potter" spinoff is sheer magic, a grand fantasy-adventure that already feels like an old family favorite."

According to Us Weekly, "Rowling, who wrote the screenplay, has layered a sophisticated and surprisingly dark origin story that will appeal more to grownups than the younger set."

According to indieWIRE, "The "Potter" movies were so well conceived that they contain endless possibilities for more entries, and "Fantastic Beasts" takes the bait right on cue, not repeating a formula so much as enriching it with a spellbinding polish."

According to Daily Mail (UK), "It's every bit as good as Potter and quite possibly even better. I absolutely loved it."

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is scheduled to release on November 18.
