Did You Know That Fatima Sana Shaikh Was Part Of These Movies Before Dangal?

Dangal gave us a pool of new talents this year! The movie, that won all hearts and became a 100 crore club movie in a span of 3 days despite demonitisation, had so many talented actors sharing the screen. Aamir Khan obviously gave an outstanding performance. But the others also matched his talent, be it Sakshi Tanwar who played his wife or his on-screen daughters Fatima Sana  Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra!

Well, Fatima and Sanya have been lauded for their nuanced performance in the film! While we have seen Fatima before as a child artist, this is her first big movie. We have also learnt that she tried ad films for the last three years! And that she had a superb debut with Dangal! 

But hold your thoughts right there! Apparently Dangal is not the debut movie for this actress who played wrestler Geeta Phogat in Dangal. No, we are not talking of her films as a child artist! Even as a grown up actress, Fatima Sana Shaikh had appeared in three movies- Tahaan, Bittu Boss and Akash Vani!

In Tahaan, he played the role of Zoya!

She was also in Akash Vani and played Vani's classmate Sumbul! She was there in one of the famous shayari scenes in the movie! Check it out :

She was also a part of Bittoo Boss! And she could be seen in TV in the serial, Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo as Suman!

The girl has definitely come a long way and given a terrific performance in Dangal. We just can't wait to see more of her!
