Having been kept in the waiting for a long time now, Anu Menon’s directorial ‘Waiting’ starring Kalki Koechlin and Naseeruddin Shah will see the light of the theaters this Friday. With its heart wrenching trailer having already won our hearts, ‘Waiting’ promises to be a low key light hearted take on situations that anybody amongst could face any day.

The steadily building friendship of two different people meeting at a hospital in a situation that defines their life is what Waiting is about. As intense as its subject in a one liner may sound, what’s interesting is its handling is completely in contrast to its subject!

Naseer-Kalki’s Stellar Chemistry: Complimenting each other on every note possible, the trailer affirms what the lead cast could really do. With different shades layered to both the characters, the performances may just make Waiting’s already attractive setting more improved. With fair amount of emotions, humor and wit, the rich star cast that also has the likes of Rajat Kapoor and Suhasini Maniratnam, is the biggest strength for Waiting.
