Game Of Thrones Finale Review: Winter Has Come, Theories Have Proved Themselves Right!

Game Of Thrones Finale Review: Winter Has Come, Theories Have Proved Themselves Right!

In what would assumingly be called one of the best ever season finale, season 6’s last of the episodes isn’t necessarily a conclusion, it’s a gateway to shape new directions to the story. Everything set in the place looked like taking shapes just the way things were meant to be and GOT after having taken off to steady height for a long time is now on its descend to perpetually lead to an exciting landing.

Game Of Thrones Finale Review: Winter Has Come, Theories Have Proved Themselves Right!

Yes, winter has finally come, North has a new king, King’s Landing has a new queen, Khaleesi is on her way to claim her throne and audiences are left to see all of it unwrap in the coming two seasons hopefully. Getting on to the season 10 narrative, while the loosely tied ends of the High Sparrow met a drastic fate, it was Cersie who claimed the throne again. Having put a deceptive web of bringing the High Sparrow and his army down, Cersei earned her revenge she badly wanted. However, she also had to let go off her son, King Tommen, who couldn’t take the scenes transpiring in front of him.

After the gratifying victory against Ramsay Bolton, it is Jon and Sansa who are now discussing terms of their future and also what Littlefinger’s role might there be in the scheme of things. On further persuasion from House Mormount, Jon Snow in an epic turn of events was hailed as King in the North! From Ned to Robb Stark, while the scene touched you in all its proximity, it was still under a cloud of doubts what the Littlefinger would do from here on as he pictures himself sitting on the Iron throne with Sansa alongside him.

In another turn of a dramatic sequence, someone just earned a long pending revenge on Walder Frey. Arya Stark who pretty challengingly left the city of Bravos, once again took a different face and found her way to kill Walder Frey. Yes that probably was the best moment featuring her if both the last two seasons are put in perspective.

Daenerys who in a moving display on emotions names Tyrion the hand of the queen, is on her way with ships, an army and of course the dragons. How things escalate in the coming season would only be something to look forward to direly.

The most interesting part though comes in a hindsight of pictures as Bran takes us back to the theory we had predicted a long time ago. Yes, so Jon Snow is apparently a Targaryen. Lyanna Stark after having been kidnapped by Rhaegar Targaryen gave birth to Jon Snow who Ned promised to take care of and gave him his name who eventually brought himself up as bastard. If this theory promises some ends ahead, it will really spice up things with epic proportions.

The season has ended, the stories have taken shapes, a lot of chapters have found their course and just like we mentioned, the journey is to its descend. While Jon Snow’s hanging fate toyed with our emotions for a complete year in the last season, this finale has promised more than what anybody could have imagined. Let’s look forward to the next episode that you should probably set a countdown for a complete year!
