Game of thrones has taken a big turn. Now that the focus has shifted from the Iron Throne to the White Walkers and the others it only seems fair to explain AZOR AHAI the bringer of peace.
Before I explain who Azor Ahai is, I would like to explain the difference between wight and others.

White walkers are the already dead men with horrible and decaying bodies on the other hand the Others are the blue eyed creatures that walk around and command the dead. The Others are then answerable to the Night King.

Thousand of years ago, during the great night, the darkness had took over the world when the Wight and the Others walked along side death bringing with them the end of life. Azor Ahai a great warrior forged a sword and made the ultimate sacrifice by driving the blade straight through his wife Nissa Nissa’s heart to temper it and give rise to the ultimate weapon, The Lightbringer.
The light bringer was then used to defeat the Great Other. This is how Azor Ahai brought peace to the world by defeating the darkness.
According to prophecy, in ancient books of Asshai from over five thousand years ago, Azor Ahai will rise again amidst salt and smoke, wielding the Lightbringer once again, he will stand against the Others. Bringing peace to the seven kingdoms he’ll be the Prince that was promised.
Several theories exist to decipher who Azor Ahai is. Mellisandre better known as the red priestess initially claimed Stannis Baratheon as Azor Ahai but after his demise by the hands of Brienne of Tarth she has now put her faith in the Resurrected Jon Snow.
New fan theories have emerged over time and each theory proposes a new saviour.

Unlike other candidates the prophecy fits just right in her case. She was born in Dragon Stone, a castle in the middle of the sea above a volcano. So technically she was born amidst salt and smoke. Also she gave birth to 3 dragons from rocks. The final part of the prophecy was fulfilled the moment she accidentally kills Khal Drogo. So basically Daenerys can be considered the Azor Ahai, a prince that was promised
Though Jaime doesn’t match the requirements put forth by the prophecy his change in personality has made him one of the most amiable characters on the show. It is even thought that he eventually will kill Cersei to take up the mantle of Azor Ahai, ending the long night and bringing peace to the seven kingdoms.

Some also believe that Rhaegar Targeryan was the Azor Ahai and Jon Snow is the light bringer that was given to the world by none other than Rhaegar and he’ll finally bring peace to the seven kingdoms.
All the possible candidates stand an equal chance to take up the mantle and fight for the living. But the title still up for grabs and who knows it might be a character we anticipated the least.
