14 Movies That Prove 2009 Was A Landmark Year For Bollywood

There have been a lot of good years in the history of Bollywood--and likewise, there have been quite a few that have been terrible in a lot of ways. If we had to rate, the last year, 2016, it would be somewhere in the middle. Though it was not great in several ways, the year in terms of introducing fresh content came out ahead when compared to most recent years.

 And when we talk about landmark years in Bollywood, we feel that 2009 doesn't get its due. The year, in addition to producing more than a few top shelf films, marked the debut for several actors and directors. And what resulted was a list of exciting films that we all can treasure for a long time.
