Here's All The Truth Behind Pulkit Samrat And Yami Gautam Alleged Affair!

Pulkit Samrat has been into many controversies now. The actor, who has failed to deliver a hit after Fukrey, has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. The actor personal life became a topic of speculation when he and his wife started living separately.  And then there were continuous rumours of Pulkit getting cozy with his Sanam Re costar Yami Gautam. And now the actor is in news again, thanks to his temper issues. He has now been accused of misbehaving with the paparazzi and also of breaking furniture’s of the hotel room he was staying in.

Let us take a look into the journey of the Junooniyat star and his controversies:

Pre Mumbai and TV career:

Pulkit is a Delhi wala launda. He was born in Shalimar Bagh to a real estate business family. He was studying advertising at Apeejay Institute of Design, Delhi when he received an offer for modeling. So he moved to Mumbai in 2005, and there he joined acting school to hone his skills.

He started his acting career with TV with the popular show, Kyunkii Saans Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi as Lakshya. But unfortunately, due to a bad back problem, Pulkit had to quit the show in 2007.

Jab Pulkit Samrat Met Shweta Rohira:

Pulkit had met Shweta when she had come to interview him. Rohira, who was a freelance journalist, was given an assignment by her mother to interview the actor who was still asoociated with Kyunkii. The two became friends and then love happened. The duo got married in November 2014 and the wedding was attended by many in the industry.

The Salman Connection:

Shweta Rohira is also Salman Khan’s Rakhi sister. Salman Bhai, who is known to have launched many and stabilized careers of a lot of people, had aided and was involved in the promotions of Pulkit’s debut film, Bittu Boss.

Infact, Pulkit had also appeared in the role of a policeman in Salman’s Jai Ho. He also acted in Dolly Ki Doli, which was by Salman’s brother Arbaaz Khan.

Sanam Re: The beginning of a controversy

Pulkit had signed Divya Kumar Khosla’s Sanam Re opposite Yami Gautam, a name that was to get intricately associated with Pulkit. According to an interview given by Shweta, post her separation from Pulkit, he would have never wanted to get involved with Yami. Shweta said in the interview:

“I know my husband and  Yami is the last person he would want to be involved with... Eight years ago, he had done a music video with her and at that time he wasn’t even talking to her. Yami always had her eyes on him, but Pulkit never had the hots for her."

In fact, Shweta never trusted Yami. When the shoot for Sanam Re was going on, she accompanied Pulkit to Shimla. She had apparently also had a showdown with her at the gym where Yami and the couple used to work out.

After this much public and open ‘fight for the guy’ episode, Yami apologized for having said things in the heat of the moment and Pulkit too assured her. But the rift in the marriage became apparent. The final nail in the coffin was hit when Pulkit separated from Shweta in 2015, almost a year after their marriage.

Junooniyat: Failure, Temper Issues and Downfall

Pulkit and Yami’s relationship status became a matter of continuous speculation after Pulkit’s separation.  The media reports also said that the two had moved in together. The two were also working together for Junooniyat. And their chemistry was sizzling.

But Pulkit’s graph went downwards after the failure of Junooniyat. The film bombed badly at the box office.

And then the temper issues of pulkit too became very apparent. The actor tried to attack the paparazzi when they snapped him with Yami at Mumbai airport. The two had apparently gone for a holiday together. While Yami was as cool as a cucumber, an aggressive Pulkit was seen coming towards the media. The incident did not help at a time when Pulkit’s career was already in deep waters.

To add to all this, it was reported that he had been so frustrated over Junooniyat’s failure that he broke furniture of the hotel room he was staying in. Though he said he would compensate for the damages, the report damaged his image in the worst way possible.

And now after all this, there are rumours that that Yami is also reconsidering her relationship with a man who has yet not filed for a divorce. The actor has said that he is too busy to divorce his wife, with whom his relationship is over. Pulkit has said,

"I had two back-to-back releases, so I didn't have the time to get into legal matters. It's unfortunate that Shweta and I couldn't make our marriage work and had to take the decision of living our lives separately. We are sticking to that."

Yami is reportedly not very happy with how Pulkit has been behaving in the public and how he is dealing with failure. Also, Yami will have a big release with Kabali this year, while Pulkit’s career is going nowhere forward.

It only remains a matter of time to see how Pulkit Samrat would revive himself, and bring his career and his life on the right track. High time that he mends his ways, isn’t it?
