    After years of debate, Salman Khan was pronounced 'not guilty' in the blackbuck poaching and illegal arms possession case by a Jodhpur court Today. The court gave this verdict due to lack of evidence against the actor.  

    The proceeding began in 1998, when a case was registered against the actor for allegedly possessing arms with expired licenses. In addition, he was also charged for poaching two blackbucks. These events took place during the production of Sooraj Barjatya's Hum Saath Saath Hain.

    But today this case, which was registered under sections of the Arms Act following a complaint made by the state Forest Department, rests.

    And obviously, Twitterati erupted following the decision, with some praising the decision while some baffled by it. And equal proportion, of course, was at its sarcastic best:
