Just in case you have been living in a cave for the past month, Salman Khan-starrer Sultan has become a colossal hit. The wrestling film is about to gross ₹300 crore domestically.

But now focus on the portion of the statement: the film is yet to cross the benchmark, and according to some supporters of the star, it is not going to.

    So here's the deal.

According to reports, the film has earned an estimated ₹297 crore at the box-office. The film, which is now in its fifth week has obviously slowed down, but some feel that the film should have crossed the figure by now.

There are sources who confirm that Salman Khan -- like Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan -- has a 80:20 profit sharing deal with Yash Raj Films. And once the film crosses the 300-crore mark, Bhai's deal would become substantially better.

Therefore, Salman Khan fans are accusing producer Aditya Chopra for inaccurate reporting of the box-office numbers. Meaning, the numbers are getting curbed by the producer, so that it doesn't the ₹300-crore mark. Such is their outrage that they have started to tweet with  #YRFStopReducingSULTANFigures to make their point.

Earlier, Salman Khan's film Ek Tha Tiger failed to goss ₹200-crore mark, halting at ₹199.6 crore.

What do you think? Is the Bhai being fooled?
