Here’s Why We Can’t Believe Vicky Kaushal Has Opted Out Of Padmavati!

 Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati seems to be making a lot of news nowadays! Apparently the lead actress of the film, Deepika Padukone has refused to work with a TV actor! Initially, a TV actor signed up to play her on-screen husband. The actress refused, citing that she would not be comfortable filming intimate scene opposite any TV actor!

But as far as we remember, Vicky Kaushal had already been signed for this role. There were also news of him opting out of the film, but the reasons cited were not really clear. Some sources said that it was because the role was not a meaty or strong one, and Vicky did not want to do such a small role.

This seemed a little odd to us. Here's why we can not really believe that Vicky has opted out of the movie:

1. It is a dream for every actor to work with a director like Sanjay Leela Bhansali. And Vicky himself had been pretty excited about it. He had himself auditioned for the role of Padmavati’s husband in the film!

2. Vicky had done supporting roles before. He had been part of Luv Shuv De Chicken Khurana and Bombay Velvet. And the roles were not really very strong. But being the prolific actor that he is, Vicky had given his heart to whatever role he has played!

3. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s supporting characters are not really weak! They have important and parts to play in the plot of the movie.

4. And finally, when asked about and actress who Vicky would like to romance on-screen, this was what Vicky replied:
