Housefull 3 Ahead On Week Days As Well, Looks Set To Cross 100 Crores

Housefull 3 seems to have given two hoots to what the critics felt about it as it continues to churn moolah at the box office. While most eyes were on its first crucial test which is its first weekday, the film did come out strong on Monday to confirm the audience support the team was boasting of. The exceedingly good performance also asserts that the success we were hearing all about on social media wasn’t just a hoax.

After having garnered the biggest opening weekend for any Bollywood film this year, Housefull 3 wasn’t just ahead of Akshay’s previous hit Airlift, it also raced ahead of SRK’s Fan with some margin. While Fan of course slipped drastically down as soon as it entered the weekdays, Housefull 3 has shown great strength.

The film earned a strong 8.25 crores on Monday to take its tally beyond the 60 crore mark in just 4 days itself. If the trend goes on, the film will most likely close its first week total somewhere in the range of 75 to 80 crores. With this, the chances of it making into the 100 crore club will grow with certain measures. Housefull 3 has without a doubt surprised a lot of trade pundits out there, given the kind of feedback it received at large.
