5 Reasons Why Hrithik Roshan's Career is in Bigger Trouble Than You Think

Don't get us wrong, we love Hrithik Roshan. And precisely because of that, we are afraid that the talented actor's career in a funk right now--and is likely to stay that way for a while.

To be honest, we are shocked to even talking about this as only a while back, he seemed like one of those stars whose box-office prowess couldn't fade. But partly because of his inability to adapt, partly because of poor decision-making and even slightly because of events surrounding his personal life, he has reached this improbable stage so soon.

And it is likely to stay that way as for a various reasons stated below, his career is in trouble:

Mohenjo Daro's failure won't be easily forgotten.

One of the biggest failures of the year, the movie is also one of the lowest points of the actor's career. Made on a budget of 115 crore, the movie hasn't even been able to recover its cost, let alone churn out any profit. There is no doubt that there will be ramifications.

He hasn't delivered a hit in 2 years.

The failure of Ashutosh Gowariker directorial means that for two years the actor hasn't been able to deliver a hit film for over two years. His last successful film was Bang Bang!.

He hasn't been in a critically acclaimed film for 4 years.

While Krrish 3 and Bang Bang! earned stupendous amount of moolah, they received mixed reviews, to say the least. Agneepath and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara are the type of films that the actor should be doing.

Possible fight with Yash Raj Films.

It is widely reported that the actor was going to be in YRF's Thug opposite Amitabh Bachchan. But things went south when the actor was demanding 50 crore for the film. If this is the case, it is big cause for concern for the actor as YRF is one of the biggest studios in the land. 

Battle with Shah Rukh Khan.

Hrithik Roshan's next release Kaabil will be clashing with Shah Rukh Khan's much delayed Raees. You might think that after the failure of Mohenjo Daro, the actor would have done all he could to avoid another clash. But, in fact, it is reported that SRK had a lot of meetings with him and Rakesh Roshan to avoid this but Roshans wouldn't budge. Another decision he might come to regret?
