    Why did Sejal seek validation from Harry?

    Imtiaz said that all young girls grow up in a certain environment and they don’t realise their worth in terms of physical being. She had latent insecurities about the way she appears. And especially when you find a person who completes you, you do want their validation.

    What was the brief he gave to Pritam and Irshad for the song Ghar?

    Imtiaz told that during the shoot of Tamasha in Shimla he figured out a place where there are huge steps that connect the middle bazar with the mall and the city. There he saw labourers carrying unimaginably heavy load on their back, and each of them listen to a happy-sad song with happy lyrics sung in a female voice, but sad tune. It keeps them going and they feel incomplete without that song. In the rigors of life it gives them interesting melody.

    Why are almost all male characters same in Imtiaz Ali movies?

    Imtiaz took the bullet and answered a question that does rounds of the internet everytime his movie comes. He said, subconsciously, he’s the same person in a way. Aditya, Jordan and Harry have a bunch of common features but Imtiaz never meant to be autobiographical in his attempts. He agrees that some part of him gets reflected in these characters.

    He actually wanted to make it an extremely light and small film.

    How difficult/easy is to work with a superstar?
